Hate mail

So I haven't talked to a good friend of mine for a couple months because of certain reasons that you will see in a second. Anyway, trying to be colloquial as possible with out setting off any other parties I sent her this message:





I was hoping to hear from her and get some update on how her life was going. Friendly catching up. A full month later I receive this email from another party who I guess felt like I was encroaching on his territory.

I have met this person one time for a literally all off 10 seconds. That also was a debacle. I take a slightly sadistic pleasure in the fact that something as small as sending a message to someone I haven't talked to or as far as he knows had a real conversation with in the last year could really be that threatening to whatever he has going. Whatever. I chose not to respond just because it really isn't worth my time.

Anyway, on a happier note, this was found on the girl's restroom wall at the Horse Head the other night.

Still sitting up writing a paper that I should have written 6 hours ago and gone to bed. Hello RedBull.

Found out today that I only need two more classes to finally graduate and then it's hopefully off to Portland.

I also received what I think is my first hate mail today. I'll post a pic of it later after I blur out the names of the people sending it. It's kinda fun to have someone that you really know nothing about (and that really knows nothing about you) hate you. I feel special in a weird way. Whatever.

Ugh..

I finally decided to come back. I really hate blogging because it seems like no matter how hard I try I can't seem to put my thoughts down in words. It's so much easier to just talk or have a conversation with someone. And who wants to read what I have to say anyway? I guess the only way to get better at expressing myself in a blog is to blog in a blog.

UPDATES: In my fifth year at the UO still trying to finish my advertising major. Working at Cumulus Broadcasting and now at Jameson's bar in downtown Eugene. It has been a little rough keeping up with full time school and then having to immediately go to work at either of these places. I'm making a lot of money but hopefully I don't fail any of my classes.

I'll probably be on here from day to day trying to update even if it's just something stupid. Anyway this made me laugh:

Worlds's Greatest Sandwich

So I was stumbling through youtube and found this video of adam sandler watching the world's best sandwich be made. Watch it now and I guarantee that your stomach will be growling.




Ingredients

- 3-4 thick slices of bacon
- 2 slices of Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 slices Pain de Campagne, toasted
- 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
- 4 slices of tomato
- 2 leaves butter lettuce
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 egg

Chris Cunningham = Genius

I didn't really realize how much of a genius Chris Cunningham really is until I found out that he is behind some of my favorite music videos such as Bjork's "All is Full of Love" and a lot of the Aphex Twin and Squarepusher music videos as well. Check some out.

One Club Stuff

So, I'm working with a girl in China on a project for One Club that is going to be due on September 29th, a month after I get back. She's pretty much amazing and blows me out of the water with her drawing and paintings skills. So I have to get working on that pretty soon. Sigh.

This is going to suck because I don't even get home until the 10th and then I'm going to have to work my ass off to even get a finished product. Oh well. It can be done and I'm definitely going to do my best.
